Dr. Margaux Flaherty, OD

Dr. Flaherty was very nice interacting with me. She did a wonderful job examining my vision and her suggestion for new contact lenses was wonderful. I have already recommended her to my wife and brother.

I went to Eye Associates Northwest for an eye exam for glasses. Hadn't been to an Optometrist in 5 yrs! I have a couple of eye problems for which I am being seen by 2 other Optamolagists.I gave her my background and gave her an eye scan just for my record. We did a eye test for glasses not a medical one.She was very thorough and her assistant found something (not life threatening or visually issue).They also have glasses which you can order, but this is the 1st time that I didn't have any pressure to buy glasses!Definitely recommending her to my family and friends.

I have had an eye exam approximately every other year for the past 30 years with about four different providers/practices. My most recent visit was my 2nd visit at Kosnoski Eye Care. I went in for a regularly scheduled eye exam to be covered by my vision insurance. During the visit, Dr. Flaherty recommended an extra test and I agreed to it. That cost me $60 out of pocket. In addition, without my knowledge, she changed the visit to a “medical” exam. They billed my medical insurance for both “Eye Exam New Patient” (I was not a new patient) AND “Eye Exam With Photos”. My total out of pocket was $295 for an exam that should have been completely covered by my vision insurance! When I called their business office to inquire about the surprise bill, they were very rude and defensive. Beware, their patient paperwork requires the signing of an authorization to submit claims to health insurance in addition to vision insurance. And they do. And it costs several hundred dollars.
