Dr. Maria Kolarsick, DNP

Have been following Dr. Kolarsick before she opened her own practice. My wife and I have been nothing but greatly plased with her. Found a melanoma early and saved me a massive problem. Always been very pleasant and knowledgeable as far as we are concerned....Would not hesitate to HIGHLY recommend her to anyone

Dr. Kolarsik is a NP she is not a doctor. I’ve been a patient approx. 2 years. My prev. Dr. was retiring I had been with him since 95. I was diag. w/melanoma in 95. Dr. Kolarsik was cold and harsh. I thought I could handle it 1x a yr. because her full body exams were thorough. Recently I exp. new hlth. concerns 1 was /a precancer on my bottom lip.Her plan was a chemo cream for 14 days and a telavisit to eval. me. I began to exp. side effects 1 of them”a lot of hair shedding “. I called her 5 days in a row to get the answering machine stating “ dr was with pt.’s. Lv. mess.. No one called back!! I’m in the health care field over 25 yrs. never have I exp. such unprof. behavior. My G.P. Dr. called her and had to leave a message. Dr. K. didn’t return her call either. Finally on the 5th day Dr. K. office called to say the dr. “was on vacation”!! She was apologizing and upset herself.8 days later Dr. K. FaceTime me only to attack me and lie. She took no resp. for her actions. Terrible exp..

Came to see this Dr, waited an hour and 15 to be seen. When I inquired with the receptionist how much longer it will be, they said a few minutes. 25 minutes later the Dr. came in, and told me that I had been asking how much longer, with no apology that she was running so behind. Doctor continued to rush me throughout the appointment. Would not recommend or return to this doctors office. Completely unprofessional and inconsiderate, zero friendliness.

Dr. Kolarsick is an excellent dermatological practioner. She is “extremely” thorough in her examinations. So much so that an early stage, in situ melanoma was detected and treated successfully. I have no reservations recommending her highly. AH

Dr. Kolarsick is amazing. She is easy to talk to. She has great bedside manners. She is very focused on prevention. She explains anything that she is doing. I have recommended her to several people who are equally happy with her. I do also agree that the downfall of the office is her nurse that assists her. She does not seem to know how to interact appropriately, especially when she is reaching out via telephone which usually ends with her giving patients an attitude.

This is a nurse practitioner, not a board certified medical doctor. Independent practice for nurses is not legal in NJ!! Do yourself a favor and go to a real dermatologist!!

Dr Kolarsick is extremely thorough and genuinely caring while explaining all exams/procedures/treatments. I have had nothing but great experiences at each of my appointments and highly recommend her. I cannot agree with the previous review, her staff has always been great as well. They are also very accommodating with regard to making appointments that work with my busy schedule.

The Dr is great! But her office help will ruin her business. When the asst called to reschedule an appt I had made over 6 mths prior, she wasn't at all apologetic. In fact when I was concerned that now I would have to miss work, she asked, "Do you want to find another dr?" The visit went similarly. RN advised me to 'take a R then a L' to my room. When I asked "this door?", to a catty corner room, she just repeated it. I called after Rx mishap & was told dr couldnt call me back, asst hung up
