Dr. Maria Loulourgas, OD

I am proud to write this review on behalf of the Group at Eye See Clear Vision. My wife and I live in Miami. I have a very challenging eyeglass prescription. We were referred to Dr Maria Loulourgas Optometric Physician by some friends from the West Coast of Florida who are patients there. Eye Center is a State-of-The-Art Eye Center, and they have the latest in Digital Medical Equipment. The Eye Center presents itself as very neat and extremely clean. When I arrived my medical insurance was looked up by Phil, who is Dr Loulourgas husband. I did not know what my insurance was, but he was able to quickly find it went over all my benefits. I waited less than 10 minutes to see Dr Loulourgas. She was extremely through. She carefully explained to me my vision needs, and highlighted some issues I was having. From the moment I walked into the door, I was comfortable. Having gone to the same doctors for twenty years, even traveling back to them, I was apprehensive. No reason to be. The perfect eye exam..treated kindly. The assistant who took care of me was wonderful…the eye doctor was fantastic. The doctor’s husband at the front desk was as patient as she was…the optician was also. Both gentlemen great and so patient with this elderly woman who could not make up her mind… I could never ask for better service. I ordered glasses and sunglasses…they were patient in waiting for me to order contacts to fit my budget. I would recommend this office to others if you want the best care…prices that fit with the area…medical professionals who care if you come back…I am a senior citizen and the care I received there is not always how seniors are treated. I cannot say enough good things about this doctor and her staff.

She is very professional and knows her job

Very thorough competent exam, however I should have been told she is an optometrist and not an ophthalmologist. I only had to wait 10 minutes to be seen.

AS ALWAYS ... EVERY ASPECT OF YOUR SERVICES was SMOOTH, ACCURATE AND COMPLETE IN EVERY RESPECT !!!!

Dr. Loulourgas is a compassionate person and I feel very confident in her care. However, the wait time from scheduled appointment time to actually seeing the Doctor is usually over 2 hours. This is unacceptable, as I work full time and am not paid for the time I am away from my office.
