I had an initial intake via TelaDoc with Maria on New Year’s Day.She had a nice manner and specialized in some of the issues I wanted to address. When we ended the call, she mentioned the method would be that she would send me times for weekly availability. I was looking forward to addressing some ongoing concerns I had with my mental and behavioral health.Several days later, I received an auto-email from TeleDoc saying that no further actions were necessary. So I wrote there asked about it. She said she didn’t have weekly availability and didn’t want to keep me from finding another therapist. Well if that were true, she ought to have been proactive in saying that instead of waiting for me to email inquiring at the end of the week.When I went back on Teladoc, of course she had availability. Not exactly the level of authentic or integrity I seek in my therapist. And most likely a sign of judgemental outlook.
