Dr. Marie Tartibi, OD

Had a new patient appointment today and arrived ontime for 11AM - wasn't brought back till 11:40AM and by Noon I still had not seen the Doctor. There was no way I was going to make it out the door being examined and with frames selcted in less than 2 and half hours - maybe 3. My time is just as valuable so that didn't work for me so I left. Though building seemed new, the equipment going to be utilized was not state of the art. Exam rooms contained cases of contacts which I am not used to for patient care.

I was told my glasses would be done in two weeks, it took one month. The glasses they gave me were not the glasses I ordered. The lenses are the correct but the nose and ear part are not the same as I ordered. They say yes I say no. I now have glasses I don't like and are stuck with them for a year, for insurance. Not Happy

The doctor was good, but front staff is horrible & so unprofessional! The front staff ladies were having verbal disagreements in front of me. They seemed to be bothered that I was standing there interrupting their argument & gossip hour. My contacts order was wrong & they blamed the doctor. My glasses were suppose to be transitions, I was told they were when I picked them up, but they were not! I will never go back! Missing my previous optometrist of 9 years, who recently retired!

My issue was not with the Dr. but with the staff.. specifically the office manager Kathy. She has been rude and has out rite lied to me. I'm quite sure the Dr. does not have any idea what has transpired but if she did I'm sure she would not approve. So when you say that you have done something like mailed a pair of glasses to a client maybe you should have done so or tell the truth and say you didn't and explain why. Honesty is always the best policy.
