Mario helped us tremendously in thinking about how to teach our 6 year old son to not hit his mother. He was not doing it spitefully which made it even more confusing. We felt overwhelmed and at our whits end with the issue because it seemed like nothing we did helped. Mario gave us the tools to communicate and correct effectively. After just a few weeks of counseling we saw dramatic improvements in our son. Correcting our kids is way harder and more complicated than I thought it would be. It was incredibly helpful to get specific advice about our particular situation.

All the therapists I've worked with over the years have been 'professional', but Mario adds a personal warmth to his knowledge of physiology, years of experience and staying on top of new research and trends in psychology.Mario amazed me by showing the harmony between modern psychology and scripture.He's worked with me on my marriage (in-office) and parenting as a single dad (online) and I've benefitted greatly from his principle-based approach. My confidence in parenting has greatly increased because I've implemented simple, caring steps that really work.When I hear of friends or folks struggling, I refer them to Mario.

Mario is a compassionate listener and counselor who seems to get paid for what he loves to do! Mario is very thoughtful on what approaches he uses, and his techniques are easy to remember and apply. He helped me and my family over the course of a year and I'm a better equipped parent and person as result of his investment. I appreciated his insights into helping me manage anxiety and his ability to apply biblical insights and truth to the challenges I faced. He would be the first counselor I would recommend if someone asked me for a reference.

Mario is an incredible therapist! As someone who has been in the child development field for a long time, his perfectly tailored advice and resource recommendations could not have been more helpful. If you are a parent struggling to understand how to help your child, he is the man to talk to. He’s helped my husband and I more than we can describe… our marriage is so much stronger and our parenting game has been taken to the next level as a result of his wise and gentle counsel. I’ve often asked if he has slots opening up because I wish all my friends who are in the throes of parenting could benefit from his help navigating these tricky waters! Talking with him is like having a parenting coach, and instead of having to sift through dozens of books or articles and wondering if this or that would help, he distills all of his knowledge down and will tell us exactly what principles to apply when we need them. He has been such a godsend & we couldn’t be more grateful!

I sat down with Mario once a week for many years, and routinely found myself looking forward to our visits. I often have difficulty opening up to people, but Mario is an incredibly caring, compassionate, relatable and humorous man, and he selflessly guided me through some of the more difficult times in my life. He was consistently upbeat, showed genuine concern for my well-being, and the advice he gave me always left me feeling better. He has a way of conveying information in a manner that easily sinks in, and the exercises we would work on really helped me rewire my pessimistic way of thinking. Mario has a truly benevolent soul, and I can say without exaggeration that I would take a bullet for him as the world needs more people of his character. He is easy to talk to, hard not to like, and always leaves one feeling respected and valued, even when one does not see value in oneself. As a therapist, a man, and a friend, he is of the highest order.

Mario is very genuine and the best of the best. I have done family and individual therapy sessions with Mario. I always felt content and had a lot of insights to take away from our sessions. I am so grateful for the help he has provided me with over the past years.

Mario is probably the best therapist we have had. He understands how to work with diverse couples and is adaptable with his approach. We worked with him for over 8 months and will miss our sessions immensely!

My husband and I were in great need of a marriage "make over". We decided around our 10 year anniversary that it was imperative to sit down with a counselor and work through some issues we were having - specifically how we communicate with each other. From day one we felt a connection and safety with working with Mario. He is patient, kind, uses visual charts, videos, etc to convey information to us that has been so helpful. He creates a space to role play and practice new methods of communication. As we talk to each other, Mario is there to mentor us as we implement new skills he has taught us regarding communication. Mario is great with our son as well who feels very comfortable talking to him. We have been with Mario for a year and a half now. Our sessions with him have been life changing and our marriage has improved greatly!!! Our home is a joyful place again. We are so thankful to everything Mario has taught us! His methods work!!!!!

This is the first time that I write a review. The reason is I want to help other people like me. I had changed 4 therapists and did a lot of research, before I started my visits with Mario. Mario has had a huge impact on our family when we had no hope left. He has a very sympathetic heart in what he does and does not take sides with anyone. He was right on with discerning the problem and able to give practical advice on how to bring peace within the home. Not only has his counsel been helpful for our own family but also helpful in the way we relate to others. Mario has been a lifesaver for our marriage and family. His family centered approach has really helped us get through many difficult times. We initially started to see him for marriage counseling, but then realized that our children could also benefit from therapy with Mr. Mario ( as they refer to him).
