Marissa Cortes Mendez is a very thoughtful, compassionate, and thorough provider. I have known her for ten years and we have worked professionally together. Her clinical decisions are spot on, and she goes the extra mile for patients. She is very passionate about women’s healthcare and especially care related to menopause. She recognized that most medical and advanced practice training programs provide limited education on the topic so she sought out specialty training and expertise to be able to better serve women going through menopause. I have learned a lot from Marissa and have even consulted with her on numerous medical topics. I would refer my friends, sisters, and mother to Marissa.

Marissa provides excellent care and understands my health needs. I felt comfortable talking to her about my concerns. I felt heard. My concerns were addressed.

Please do yourself the favor and avoid this provider. She doesn’t take the time to advise what can be done. She is also very quick to insinuate that you’re being rude when you are not feeling well and impatient. I hope she never sees another patient.
