I read the reviews for Marissa a few days prior to my appointment, and saw they were mostly negative but I decided to give her a chance anyway, especially because these appointments take awhile to get. I should have followed what the reviewers were saying, as this appointment was extremely offensive, unproductive, and detrimental to my mental health. She came off as judgmental, dismissive, and uneducated about mental health issues. I have been clinically diagnosed and treated for over 15 years for ADHD, anxiety, and depression, but was treated as though I was medication seeking instead. It was one of the most bizarre experiences I've ever had as a patient, as I was made to feel that I had to defend having mental health issues. This person should not be in the mental health field. as I was made to feel worse with anxiety and depression immediately after my appointment.
