Wonderful and caring
Marissa is a great PA, my son fractured his ankle and was under the care of Dr. Clark and Marissa, both wonderful, thorough in their checkups. Marissa was always knowledgeable, kind and encouraging and very patient answering all our questions, never felt rushed. We went back with Marissa for different problem with his ankle and she gave the same great service.

Marissa is a knowledgeable clinician. When I first met her, she diagnosed my illness after the necessary x-rays. The treatment recommendations Marissa made were spot on. The very next morning I saw marked improvement in my condition after taking the prescribed medication. I am recovering from my foot pain nicely. One person can make a difference. I highly recommend Marissa.

Amazing provider
She listened to me, ask questions and as a new patient she reviewed my MRI and paperwork before she came into the room. She gave me a treatment plan and all the options. I ended up getting a steroid shot in my ankle. I’ve had them before and she took time to figure out exactly where she was going to put it and it was the best shot I’ve had. I world highly recommend her!!!

All around great care.
Marissa and the entire Resurgens team are caring, professional, and knowledgeable. They are never in a hurry, answer all questions and take a true interest in the patient’s care and recovery. They answer the phone and return calls promptly. A rarity today. This is my third experience with Resurgens and would go again. Hope I don’t need to. Marissa is the best.

Marissa was friendly, patient, competent, and thorough in her examination of my ankle. She showed my X-rays, explaining what we were looking at. Treatment of issue discussed, she asked if I had any questions (none), gave me her card and told me to call if further problems. A+, Marissa. Thank you.

Marissa Akin is excellent
Dr. Clarke and his PA Marissa Akin are excellent. They are very friendly and also are excellent at surgery and post- surgical care. They responded to all of my questions and did such a great job on my ankle surgery that I am healed way ahead of schedule.I highly recommend.

Achilles surgery
Hurt my Achilles and Marissa worked with me for 3 months trying to avoid major surgery.After we tried several options we (she) recommended surgery to get me back to 100% on my bikes and other activities.I was very pleased with the approach and outcome of surgery???? An upbeat caring Professional
