I had done one session with him ending him saying that I can solve all my problems by reading a textbook, and he was 10 minutes late without making up for it. In addition to feeling insulted by this method of therapy, his times collided with my work schedule. I called him to notify him that I found a therapist that worked better with my work schedule and that I wouldn't be doing anymore therapy with him (to be nicer about it), and he called me a "headtrip" and started to interupt me and attempted to chew me out. I had to reschedule our second appointment due to work, but that gave me time to find someone I felt much more comfortable with. Avoid Mark unless you want to be told to read a book to solve your problems, deal with archaic billing/communication, and tardiness.

I can’t relate with the other reviews. I really enjoy my sessions with Mark and he has helped me through some tough situations. His style is personal and being real, which inspires trust for me. I don’t like the phony and “professional” approach.

I found Mark to be highly unprofessional and at times he seemed to even be agitated during our brief session. He took what seemed to be a personal phone call while in our session and was very impatient with the person on the other line. I felt that he was combative from the beginning and seems to have a predisposition for believing people are lying. I should have left the session after the first 5 minutes, but unfortunately, I stayed. He also only takes cash payments which is another red flag.
