Disappointed
I have been going to Mark since 2018. I appreciate his professionalism and experience. His staff, from front office to back, were always professional and kind, that is until he brought what appears to be an office manger on staff (wife-Lisa).I called to ask a question. I never quite got the question out because she kept interrupting me and telling me I needed to be seen. Not a problem I said. But I still requested an answer to the question. She hung up on me! Not very wise, much less professional, if you are representing Mark’s practice. Her behavior is bully like and not appreciated by this retired RN with a lifetime of health care experience.

Short staffing and poor practices
It's the overall practice we have a problem with. My husband and I both started going to this practice in 2021. Neither of us has seen Priola. We are usually paired with Spencer. This time I saw a new NP whom I won't name. I made the appointment to request antidepressants. The NP was sympathetic and easily gave me a prescription. I asked about a new swab for genetic testing that shows which antidepressants would work best on me. She knew of it but wasn't sure if this office carried it. She returned with a test that was a blood draw type. I asked if my insurance covered it. She didn't know and asked if I wanted to do it anyway. They told me I could call the rep whose # was on the box. The rep informed me the test that was for Cancer screening. When the nurse returned to my room she told me didn't know that was the test the NP wanted or she would have given it to me. In the end, I was offered the wrong test, given the correct test, but still don't know how much it's going to cost

I was told about Mark after being in ER. The nurse checking me out had had the same provider before. She didn't talk to you per we, you told the nurse everything, then she comes in and hands you rxs and out the door you go. Mark on the way far other hand, is a fantastic listener, cares about what is best for the patients and doesn't push and shove you into a charter category. A true treasure for my complicated body. Costco, Cheryl and the rest of the staff are priceless . I moved a few hours away and thank Our God that tele-med is here. The doctors where I moved are screwing my meds up and seizures returning. Back with Mark and not leaving!

I've been going to Mark's practice for a couple years now. I appreciate his candor and willingness to listen. He's an FNP, so he can do what most doctor's do.

Dr. Priola and his staff are great. I was able to get an appointment the same day. The front desk staff are polite and caring. The back staff are professional, caring, and take the time to listen and discuss the issues. They were knowledgeable about medications. I highly recommend Dr. Priola.

You could not ask for a more caring and concerned medical practitioner than Mark Priola. Mark listens to me. He hears my concerns and he hones in on the aspects of my medical condition that concern me most and addresses those issues with an amount of genuine care that most medical doctors I have previously seen have not shown. I truly feel that Mark is interested in my health and well-being and I did not hesitate to recommend him to my wife and other family members and friends.
