Martha was not very present during birth. I was in labor at the hospital for 7 hrs, pushed for 4 of those, & she was seldom there. I think she should have intervened while pushing & tried to turn my babies head because it was stuck. After almost 4 hours of pushing, the midwives had shift change & the oncoming midwife immediately moved my babies head so she was delivered within minutes. My mother had asked Martha 3 times if there was anything she could do but she did not try to adjust my baby.
