Dr. Martina Soltes, PSY.D

I was nervous to unpack some past history and trauma but finding Martina changed everything for me. She offers a safe, comfortable environment and is easy to connect with right away. She is extremely supportive, caring while also encouraging, I love how she helps me to challenge myself to understand the cognitive behaviors I have built. She introduced me to EMDR therapy and has provided great resources and tools during our sessions. I highly recommend Martina and all her knowledge and insight.

I have been a patient of Dr. Soltes for nearly 10 years and followed her from the VA system (Vet Center) to a private practice where she now works. I have been seeking help for PTSD, Survivors Guilt and Warriors Guilt closing on 15 years. The 5 years prior to being a patient of Martina's I went through 5 or 6 other Psychologist, giving them each a fair amount of time to produce results (It didnt happen). I chose to stay with Martina because she was patient with me, supportive and through her care my family, coworkers and I started to notice tangible results. Seeking help for mental health concerns is a long road and it's not easy. I cannot give her a higher recommendation and would strongly suggest that you give her a call. My life has been forever changed for the better since I had counseling with Dr. Martina Soltes. I have been around counselors for the better part of my adult life with family members, so therapy was not new to me. Three years ago, I lost a very close friend and needed bereavement counseling, which I resisted. However, when I found Martina, I was truly blessed with a very insightful and caring cognitive behavioral therapist. After addressing the bereavement, we then proceeded to address my own PTSD issues. I no longer have the need to be invisible. I am now visible and am being seen by others and it is good!
