Okay experience

Not always the most empathetic. Whenever I had any questions for her that a psychiatrist should be able to answer she would tell me to go to my PCP... and my PCP is not as knowledgeable about medications as Dr. Lamb should be.

excellent psychiatric medication provider
I first want to state that these stupid reviews left on this site are laughable. I whole heartedly have invested faith in this provider for over 20 years. Perhaps people cannot accept that she includes patients on their decisions to take medications. People are 'sour grapes' babies. Mary Jo Lamb is the greatest!!!

very knowledgeable wit psychiatric meds
Finally I found a psychiatric person that listened to me and we were able to figure out the correct dose of a medication. Ms. Lamb is professional and reliable!!!!

No idea what she is doing
After several appointments with her, she had me prescribed to two medications. Upon being on these for several months, I met with her again she she had no recollection of prescribing one of the two medications. She then tried to put blame on me for “going to another healthcare provider” when her name was written on both prescription bottles. I would not recommend her as she clearly is not fully aware of what is going on.

One of the worst experiences I’ve had dealing with a medical “professional”. She didn’t even remember anything about me at all, she simply asked me what drugs I wanted. And gave them to me.

Shockingly unprofessional and combative
Unquestionably the least qualified mental health practitioner I've had the displeasure of meeting. It's difficult to articulate the level of dismissiveness and self-importance that was on display, to the point of it being surreal. I truly hope this improves, for the better of her patients, and for Ms. Lamb herself.

Audaciously unprofessional and dismissive. Forgets subject matter discussed in previous sessions, calls patient by the incorrect name consistently, despite having multiple sessions. Inattentive, lacks accountability, and is severely lacking in empathy, which is a disservice to the profession.
