A Terrible Experience
I have been a satisfied patient of Dr. Stiegemeier for the past 20+ years. My last appointment was not only frustrating, but disappointing and rude. I waited over 1 hour in the chair as the doctor passed by my exam room several times, like I wasn't even there. I was told she has an emergency. I was disregarded and ignored for over an hour. Her assistant stopped in a couple of times and told me "She'll be right in". Never happened. When I was fuming and ready to leave, another doctor showed up. Her exam and prescription results came up very different from Dr. Stiegemeier's exam only one month prior. Very confusing. When I checked out at the front desk, Dr. Stiegemeier passed by again, making eye contact with me, and still no greeting and no apology. Instead, I was given a bill, which I refused to pay. So, now that I vented, I am done. This experience was awful. My time is valuable too. I will now seek a doctor that truly values her patients and appreciates long term loyalty.
