Mary Jo Zinnanti

Mary Jo has been a blessing to us and her and the whole staff at Common Thread ABA are amazing! It's the best ABA clinic we've had our kids at in the area. We tried another one in Kingsport that also did OT and Speech and their ABA therapist was a trainwreck and did not know what she was doing. We are so glad we found Mary Jo and Common Thread! ABA done the way it should be!

My experience has been great with Mary Jo! She treats us and our son well and communicates clearly. My wife and I have learned a lot ourselves having recently had our son diagnosed with Autism, and Mary Jo has been kind and patient with us and amazing for our boy. He enjoys seeing her and is always happy when we pick him up from the clinic.

Mary Jo has been instrumental in the progress of our children diagnosed with Autism. It is hard enough to live day to day with specially abled children, and the work Mary Jo does has helped us in ways words can't describe. We are continually seeing progress in both of our children that we've not seen with other therapists. She is wonderful!

Mary Jo has been one of the kindest and helpful therapist for our child. She takes the time to explain what's happened and her process for doing things. She is one of the best therapists I've had for my daughter. It's hard to find quality ABA in the tri-cities, but I highly recommend Mary Jo.

We started with Mary Jo after several unsuccessful months of speech therapy. Mary jo is trained in verbal behavior methods and our child is now speaking. The staff was welcoming and excellent in their care. There has been zero staff turnover since we started in May of 2021. The other reviewer is incorrect because this group obviously works as a team to provide quality care.

Mary Jo was very knowledgeable and welcomed my child with open arms. As a hands on mom I always appreciate how involved she with my child. I also appreciate that she makes sure to end each session on a positive note. Her RBTs are very hands on and my child loves to interact with them. We received ABA previously from a provider that is located inside another facility with speech and OT and we're very dissatisfied. We are very thankful that we found Mary Jo.

One of the best BCBA's in the tri-cities area! We had tried another ABA clinic in Kingsport located inside another therapy practice and they were awful.

We got Mary Jo as my child's BCBA after the previous one Shawne left. We were very excited for them to get a new one because Shawne always acted stoned. This one is a bit better she actually has some personality, but I don't think she has a clue as to what she is doing. I wish I could rate the RBT's because they are useless, and pass the buck and they do nothing but talk badly about one another, I actually met another parent whose kid goes here and it was strange how much office drama we both knew about this place. Mary Jo seems nice from the rare times I have seen her, but I think she is very inexperienced and very unsure of herself and what she's doing, at least that's what her rbts say, and my experience of her.
