I think the most disappointing part of this experience was that I was ready and exited to make a change. I think it’s extremely irresponsible for Dr.Dadkhah to say that she can work with people with eating disorders. I have binge eating disorder and I am very emotionally tied to food. For BED there’s different ways that it can be treated. And what’s the one way it shouldn’t be treated? Diet and restrictions. And what plan was presented to me by Dr. Dadkhah? An awful and bland diet and food restrictions. I left her office wanting to crying and completely distraught. It wasn’t until I did some basic googling that I found out that restrictive diets are the ONE thing you DON’T do. There’s even methods like intuitive eating that has been proven to be much better for those with BED. Or tips like practicing mindful eating. Very disappointing experience. *IF YOU HAVE AN EATING DISORDER GO SOMEWHERE ELSE*

Since I started working with Dr. Dadkhah, so much has changed in my life, and it has become harder to follow our original plans. But Dr. Dadkhah was ready with several potential solutions, and along with her support, I'm adjusting and maintaining my health.

I had my first appointment with Dr. Dadkhah today. She is very professional, experienced and knowledgeable. After talking with me and reviewing my blood work she gave me a specific program to follow that makes sense. In addition to my appointment be so positive, Dr. Dadkah has a nice personality. I definitely will continue to see her.

Dr. Dadkhah has been helping me change my eating, and my lifestyle, for just over three months now, and I am delighted at the changes that I see in my health and energy levels. She is by far one of the most educated and experienced nutrition professionals in this area. I came to her because my health was preventing me from living my life. Now, my A1C is back under control, I am losing weight, and I am DOING more of the things I want and need to do because I feel well enough to do them! Dr. Dadkhah has helped me get to this point in two ways: education and problem-solving. She has been studying nutrition and weight loss long enough not to get swept up in fads, yet she is aware of recent research. She has worked with me to identify concrete and feasible ways to incorporate changes into my eating and lifestyle. They're major changes, but I feel like she's helping me make them rather than dictating them. She has a lot of helpful ideas. I recommend working with her!

This was my first visit with Dr. Dadkhah. She took her time and was very thorough in asking me what my diet and health issues were and what my goals were. Dr. Dadkhah showed me examples of foods as well as examples of brands and how to read the labels so that I can control my blood sugar. I'm excited about checking in with her in 2 weeks. She is very professional and I can tell she uses the techniques she teaches.

Very helpful tips. I was initially pretty worried about how drastic the changes to my lifestyle might be going in, but they were actually pretty small and made a big difference. I’ve lost 20 pounds since I walked in and I’m at a healthy weight now!

I wish I could give Dr. Dadkhah 10 stars. She is very patient and knowledgeable. She takes time to listen and explains everything in detail and in understandable terms. My daughter changed her eating patterns drastically right after the very first visit and now, after 3 months of bi-weekly visits, she does so much better with eating choices. Don't think twice, make yourself a favor and start taking care of your body by changing unhealthy eating with EatWellGuru!

I was impressed with Dr. Dadkhah's training in bio. I have multiple health issues & she's patiently tried different food combos until we found diet that works. I look forward to meeting with her. She encourages & cheers me on as well as advises me on how to stick with diet. She listens to me & I'm comfortable sharing my feelings. She helps me find solutions to daily challenges that get in my way. She's helped me value physical activity & I like videos she shares to help me understand nutrition.

I saw her for weight loss and eating for energy/health. She came across as arrogant and condescending, (she actually said to me: "I have a PhD, I know what I am taking about!"). She also gave me information that was flat out wrong - "All women regardless of age or activity level, should eat 1200-1500 calories per day". The AHA website calculated my caloric needs as 2100 per day to lose one pound per week. I left the visit with NO plan, recommendation, or encouragement. TERRIBLE!
