After dealing with several other providers who either didn't seem to listen or didn't seem to really care, I was lucky enough to get Matthew Gilkey. He is truly an excellent provider. I fully trust him, and I will happily continue to go to him.

I like having Matthew Gilkey as my health care provider. He always takes the time to listen to my issues and concerns, he explains things to me in a way that I can understand and doesn't talk down to me when I ask him to explain my treatment options. I don't have to wait to get an appointment. He makes me feel at ease about any of my concerns. I will definitely recommend him to other people.

I have a hard time visiting Drs because they have made me feel stupid in the past. But Matt listened to my every concern, asked every question, made sure to cover every base, and made me feel like he actually cared. No judgment and took his time. I was very relieved and felt hopeful after my visit.

Dr. Gilkey has been my Primary for awhile. He always has time to listen, usually has good advice to offer, is a very practical Primary because he realizes that patients have questions. In short, I highly recommend him as a Primary. He keeps up on the latest health information and personnel in other areas of medicine so his analysis is very accurate. His staff is also excellent so getting an appointment is easy to schedule.

I have never experienced a more arrogant, condescending, unprofessional FNP in all my years as a patient. He made assessments of my health based on looking at notes from one of my other doctors, vs based on the reason I came to see him, i.e., follow-up after a Ventricular Tachycardia episode, resulting in two cardio-versions and a 4 day hospital stay. He diagnosed "numbness of foot" and hypertension despite my BP being 110/68. He was very cavalier about my request for an amendment.

The moment he walked through the door he was very nice and professional. He was more concerned of my current issues than his computer like most providers I've seen before.
