I wouldn't recommend, even if out of options. :(
He seemed upset and did not want to be there and denied that I ever experience sexual assault. The last session I had with him he said 'well that's a good reason to stay celibate then'. Only therapist I've ever had that I felt like my time was completely wasted. The other review on here is pretty similar to my experience unfortunately. I hope Matt can improve because many people are in more difficult positions than myself and those things can be damaging.

He seemed nice at first but then turned a bit rude and dismissive. He seemed to take a lot of what I said personally in a negative way. I have a new provider and it is a breath of fresh air not to have to worry about my therapist becoming visibly angry at me.
