Excellent Physical Therapist
I would highly recommend Dr Matisko for sports related injuries. I visited him after I had received a PRP injection to treat a meniscus tear in my knee and was dealing with tendonosis from running. He was very professional and knowledgable. He fully explained the muscular issues causing my pain and how to treat them and I never felt rushed during the appointments. After having him work on my knee and doing the exercises he recommended to strengthen the surrounding muscles, I recently ran a sub-2 hour half marathon, which was a personal record for me after 14 years of running. And most important, I was able to run the race with no knee pain! I've worked with several different PT practices in the past, and I can say that Dr Matisko is the best I've worked with. The entire staff at Westchase PT was super friendly and efficient and I've already recommended them to several friends and neighbors.
