Matthew Schwedler, PA-C

I usually go to Gerondale, who does 10 minute skin check, is very thorough, uses magnifying glass to look at individual moles, combs through my hair, etc, but couldn't get appt. for a few months. Went to this PA and the visit took 2 minutes, was very careless and unconcerned. Looked between my toes, told me to stand, and from his chair, looked at me for 5 seconds, told me to turn around and looked another 5 seconds. I have dozens of moles and he didn't look at a single one individually, or even close up. Had a possible BCCA on my cheek that I wanted burned off, told him exactly where it was, pointed to it using a mirror, and he still COMPLETELY missed it, a half inch away from it. Now I have to make another appt (with Gernoldale, of course), to get it burned off. Will never make another appt with this person. Skin cancer can be very serious and this person seemed very flippant about the whole thing.

I was treated by Matthew today and felt confident in his diagnosis and treatment plan. He explained things clearly to me and answered all of my questions. He was engaged and friendly and very knowledgeable. He encouraged me to follow the treatment plan and follow up after seeing results. Thank you Matthew and your assistant as well. I felt great about this encounter.

Matt is awesome I have been seeing him for a few years, always takes the time to explain everything thoroughly. Awesome guy....
