Dr. Mayte Guerra, PSY.D

I experienced Dr. Guerra as kind, knowledgeable and down to earth. She worked at my pace and helped me get through a difficult period in my life. Dr. Guerra is very caring and I found her to be invested in my treatment. I definitely recommend!

I have been seeing Dr Guerra for a little under a year now and she has been a godsend. When I first started seeing her I was dealing with a ton in my personal life and really could not get out of the dark cloud that consumed me. While working with her she challenged my way of thinking and progressively I became more positive and confident. I couldn't ask for a better fit in my therapy. Also while I haven't been to the office lately because of Covid the center has very clean offices and friendly staff. I look forward to continuing my sessions with Dr Guerra.

I had a horrible experience with this therapist. She did about 80% of the talking in all of our sessions and treated the whole process like she was an instructor and I was her student. She got upset when I tried to talk about things that bothered me during the week and felt I was getting "off course". She scolded me and told me that I need to let her do her job. She scolded me so bad that I went home and cried for three hours. I am now seeing a different therapist who is very calming and reassuring and whom I have gotten a very positive experience from.
