Megan Welsh

I have a plethora of health issues and have dealt with more doctors than I could ever begin to count and my experience in the St. Agnes emergency room last night was the best experience I've ever had. Her bedside manner, compassion, understanding, and feeling like she fully listened to everything I said went far beyond anything I have ever experienced in my lifetime of hospital visits. I wish I could have her as my doctor all the time, but if I ever need to use an emergency room again, I will make sure to call beforehand to see if she is working and if she is, I will be right back at St. Agnes.

I visited the emergency room for a pregnancy loss. No matter how many times a person goes through it, it never gets easier. Megan met me with compassion similar to a best friend except she had never met me before. It was so refreshing to be given the time, explanation, privacy, and genuineness during another difficult time for me. Maternity care needs more providers like this.

I came to St Agnes emergency room Thursday, 09/06 night. I had earlier had workplace injury with abrasions to my face while hitting my head. It was recommended by an other medical facility to get ct scan of my head. Megan was the PA who examined me and set up scan. However, I had some anxiety issues in the machine and Megan spent quite a bit of time with me in deciding workable options. She was thorough in her initial evaluation and very caring and compassionate. She was fantastic.
