Meghan Dahlin, MA

Meghan helped me learn skills that have changed relationship in my everyday life and has worked hard to ease fears I had in this journey. She’s a compassionate provider with a lot of knowledge.

I have worked with Meghan for many years, and I’ve sent many clients over to her. Meghan and embodies compassion and accountability with her Clients. I have complete confidence when I refer to her. She’s extremely knowledgeable and has many tools in her toolbox to share with clients.

I have known and worked with Meghan for 9 years on multiple treatment teams and in a consulting role and have always known her to be an extremely ethical and hard working clinician for her clients. She does above and beyond what is expected of a person in our field and I consider her to be the best and first clinician I refer clients to when their needs are outside of my scope. I have observed her to always puts the needs of the client first and to be adherent to evidenced based practices with all of her clients. She consults with other colleagues in the field when the client or family of client requires it and refers her clients to other professionals when she deems it appropriate and necessary. To this day I have never seen her be unethical or manipulative in her practices. In fact SHE is the go to clinician on teams when other members or colleagues are unsure of how to move forward with THEIR client using the most ethical and updated practices.

Unfortunately we found Meghan to be quite incompetent. We realized that when she started pushing for her DBT group sessions along with therapy, when we decided not to opt for it she started pushing for drug interventions without sufficient evidence and time spent in therapy - we only had 4 sessions with her. What’s more concerning is that we found her to be manipulative and untrustworthy. She failed to follow basic ethical parameters for therapy. We would not recommend her to anyone.
