Melanie Fox

I was given a rotation of therapists at Holcomb Behavioral Health. Melanie was the best. She helped me navigate an extremely challenging time of misdiagnosis by doctors. She kept me strong & fighting until I got the correct diagnosis and the physical therapy I should have gotten a decade earlier. She left Holcomb and so have I. I’m online looking for where she is now.

I have autism spectrum disorder. Melanie was my therapist for three years. Things were fine between us for the first year. After that however, she gradually showed up late for more and more appointments until she was consistently ten minutes late for each and every one of our meetings from that point on.. Her attitude quickly changed and she always seemed annoyed with me no matter how polite and cordial I was. She even rolled her eyes at me on two occasions. She consistently asked me few questions about myself. Instead, she would almost always tell me about her husband for whatever reasons. I'm under the impression that this woman was not comfortable with me because of my nervous and socially awkward demeanor despite the fact that she was well-aware of my disability. I would strongly advise any other non-neurotypical individuals seeking therapy in Chester County Pennsylvania to avoid this woman. She obviously does not know how to work with such people.
