Melissa Frost, NP

Ms. Frost has provided me with exceptional care over the last year. I was incredibly fortunate to have found her after my previous psychiatrist showed a lack of competence and empathy. Ms. Frost is incredibly thorough. She took the time to get to know me and gave me an extensive evaluation before she began treating me. Regardless of the time, she always makes sure to answer all of my questions in great detail. She never gives me a feeling of being rushed. She makes me feel like she truly cares about my well-being and she has always been accessible to me within 24 hours between scheduled appointments, which I find to be a very rare benefit these days amongst providers. Shes also significantly improved the efficacy of my medications by adjusting dosage and types of medications in a way thats given me relief from my anxiety, depression and ADHD, much more than what my previous psychiatrist had prescribed for me.

My visit went extremely well. Dr. Frost is patience, and caring.

Nurse Frost completely, totally, and negligently misdiagnosed me, and prescribed me incorrect medication. I should have seen the writing on the wall with her....She was always late to her appointments, while in the appointment it felt like she didn't pay attention to me, she would usually eat during the appointments, she just generally did not come off as a concerned and empathetic person. I feel that she should NOT be treating people, and she does not realize that she can deeply affect someones life. Her lack of experience and knowledge really shows, and I would always recommend being treated by someone with a doctorate.

Unfortunately I can’t recommend Dr. Frost at all. I often waited over 40 minutes for a 15 minute appointment. She asked about sensitive topics without any sense of sensitivity. She offered me food while we were talking about my eating disorder. She told me she was moving to Miami and I never saw her again. Frankly my experiences with Dr. Frost overseeing my mental health was traumatizing.

Office staff is very disorganized. They can't even get insurance billing right. Another patients computer record was entered as mine.
