No patience with the disabled
I thought she was a kind, understanding soul for nearly 9 years. But now, I find that she has absolutely no patience when it comes to mentally disabled people. The severe castigation she gave me was beyond damaging. I wouldn't go to her if she was the last therapist on earth.

Melissa helped me realize I wasn’t “nuts” while dealing w a manipulative, inappropriate medical situation. The more I searched for answers, the more I was lied to, told I was being a bad patient, treated as an imbecile, refused referral for second opinion & labeled unstable by those trying to cover their tracks. With her help & input I was able to realize my concerns weren’t nuts; I was being dangerously played. With Melissa’s aid I finally got what I needed- but too late.

Melissa has made such a positive impact in my life. I've seen her for years and have worked through so much of my past trauma because of her. She's help me to develop the skills I desparately needed in order to become a well rounded, successful adult. There is some thing about her that makes her more effective than other therapists. She's innovative, kind and extremely knowledgeable. I would and have recommended her to anyone who needs a little extra help or even just a new perspective.
