I am diagnosed with PTSD. It is often difficult to find a therapist who is an expert in treating trauma. I am so grateful that I found Melissa. She has helped me decrease my PTSD symptoms.

I have received treatment from Melissa over the past 6 months. Melissa has been thorough, compassionate, and attentive from our first session. Melissa is also creative and open-minded. She has been a pinnacle in my ongoing recovery from my eating disorder. I highly recommend her.

Currently based out of Longwood, Melissa is incredibly well versed and knowledgeable in issues relating to eating disorders and LGBTQIA+. However if you are struggling with abandonment issues and looking for a stable counselor to work with, you may want to seek help elsewhere. As of March 2020, she does not have scheduling software or a contingency plan if she cannot make your appointment. When she no called no showed to my appointment that she rescheduled, she would not return my phone calls to offer an adequate apology or explanation. I only recommend her if you have a support system around you that will help you through your therapist suddenly being unavailable and unresponsive.
