Empathy ? No . Apathy ? Yes. Treated me like I was an annoyance, minimized my pain by saying “oh this is a very small disc herniation” without reading my full MRI report. I asked if I could get a med increase , her response was a very cruel look and saying “don’t you see that as a problem”? Talked down to me in a way I’ve never experienced. It was a lingering awful feeling lasting for a while. Finally, she left and came back 5 minutes later with paperwork she had filled out about my visit. She put info in the report that wasn’t true I’m not taking alprazolam or diazepam never have. She said she scolded me for asking for a med increase and gave me information on how to manage my pill intake and told me not to take more than my 3 a day it goes against the legal agreement you signed and you can be removed from pain management ,I don’t take more than three a day. It said she educated me on exercises. She said she gave me an exam , she never touched me . Dishonest and callous. Avoid her .

Confused me with another patient. How could that possibly happen with my records clearly in front of her. She embarrassingly stated, 'we look alike.' Also did not follow-up with my cardiologist as she promised to gain permission for me to stop blood thinner for an upcoming procedure in their office. She doesn't care and knows she won't be held accountable. Any other organization would fire her.

I have never been spoken to in such a demeaning and rude manner in which this person spoke to me. If you have to talk at people the way she did it is time to find a new profession. Aggressive and rude.

Absolutely horrible. She is cold, rude, and condescending. Is very quick to just get you out of there as if I were just a number, or worse, an addict. She made me feel super uncomfortable in a place I already hate to be in. Doesn't know my full history of issues, doesn't care to ask. Told me my ct scans looked great when there was clear evident issues, with a need for surgery. She didn't bother actually reading the report as she rudely typed a million mph. She honestly could care less, and it was felt. I have no idea why she chose this as a field, as she seems to hate her job. Will not see her again EVER.

Condenscending, acted like she couldn't possibly prescribe pain medication even though it is a pain management clinic where you are following drug screens, physical therapy, x-ray & MRI. Found her unsympathetic and borderline rude. Waste of my time and co-pay. She said Dr. Mahaney’s diagnosis was wrong and changed it. Should never have agreed to seeing her for follow up instead of my doctor. Dr. Mahaney is very good. Will only see him from now on. Maybe one day she can have chronic pain and get the same treatment she offers up.

If you want a Doctor who LISTENS & works with you to find the best treatment... DO NOT SCHEDULE any appointment with Melynda! She comes off as condescending,& doesn't care about what your individual needs are! I have been dealing with my chronic pain illness for over 20 years! I KNOW what works & I'm also a licensed medical professional. I'd rather move to another city than keep going to her! Will ONLY be scheduling my next appointment with a DOCTOR & hopefully things will go better!
