Left Feeling Gaslighted
I worked with Dr. Ellis in couples therapy but always had a sense that she preferred my husband's narrative to mine even in my personal sessions with her. More harm than good was done unfortunately.

Basically just go somewhere else. She not friends, soothing or kind. more manners on the phone wouldn't even risk going in for an actual appointment. Tries to talk me out of an educational evaluation even though I've been told I needed one. Definitely shouldn't start a conversation with there probably nothing wrong with you before even starting the assessment. blatantly bias.

Not sure how she’s a child psychologist. Just not that warm (ie doesn’t smile and looks sort of repulsed by children) I tried to overlook it, but Considering we might need to follow up, I’m wishing I had chosen someone else.

Dr. Ellis is professional, but has no personality or 'bedside" manor with a difficult diagnosis. She is detailed, but did not get all the facts straight. I especially would not recommend her for young children.

  • Didn't explain conditions well
