Dr. Michael Miesner, PHD

Dr Miesner is great. My son has anxiety and struggled in school quite a bit. Fortunately he is doing well after Dr Miesner met with us and gave us some coping skills and strategies.

If you have insomnia, see this dude! Years of not sleeping, that's me. I saw him 4 times and am sleeping like a log. Mind over matter, folks. Dr. Miesner taught me about sleep hygiene. The rest was my doing my part. Can't thank the guy enough.

Dr. Miesner helped me overcome anxiety related to work situations. The techniques he gave me really will carry me for a lifetime. He was witty but professional, which was a nice change. I've worked on anxiety for a while now. It's nice to finally have some strategies in place. Also, had some difficulty finding a time. But staff explained he was full. That has to mean something. Have heard others talk about how much he's helping them.

Absolutely rude, indignant, condescending and arrogant describe his response to our explanation of a failed attempt to reach his staff to reschedule an appointment. Put on hold. No answer so appt was “missed” and he charged OVER $385.00! He REFUSED to reduce or waive fees! I have NEVER SEEN this before in my life. My son is working to pay for college. He simply doesn’t care! Mr Miesner was profoundly unprofessional and RUDE. Very peculiar and unfriendly. I wouldn’t recommend him to anyone!

I really like Dr Miesner, he is a nice guy, who had great points that made me think about my issues in a different way. He doesn't come across as a know-it-all stuff shirt, he is really easy to talk to and doesn't seem judgey or like he's better than you. I will more likely than not see him again.

I called today and asked a simple question of which insurance did he accept at the moment...the front desk refused to answer my question stating she didn't understand the question? Don't understand! Ok, he didn't accept the insurance I named, but she never thought I could have a second insurance. What happened to just answering a question? Then she ignored me and put me on hold! As a parent of a child with a disability, some people should NEVER come in contact with the special need community!
