Signed, very disappointed
Long wait of 6 months to see neurologist to confirm what we suspected was ALZ dementia. PCP would not diagnose or offer treatment until after neuro evaluation. After 3-hour evaluation at Dr Villneuvas office we are to wait another 2 months for the appointment to review the results of this major evaluation. Then when we do go in for this, we have many questions and want as many resources as possible. I drove up 6 hours and took 2 days off work to be there. My brother lives local but also took the day from work to be there, as this was important. Dr Villanueva could not have cared less. He was brisk and evasive. Very little information or resources to offer. It was astounding. I am a Nurse and have worked in hospitals for years. To even get him to state the diagnosis was a challenge. He also would not prescribe any medications to treat her diagnosis only stating, 'her primary care doctor will have my recommendations'. He completely signed off on my mother. WE DO NOT recommend.

I agree - Avoid this company - both locations!
Very rude, unprofessional and questionable billing practices. Don't expect a report or written results from your test. You will get hung up on when you call to inquire. Be sure to read all Google reviews too so you'll get a real picture of how this place will treat you. 19 one stars out of 22 yikes! Protect your integrity and go elsewhere.

Deeply Hurtful
Although I had nearly the same deeply hurtful experiences described by others, I now find myself on hospice for an illnesses (including dementia) both of which he described as somataform.

waste of time and money
Had me answer a bunch of questions on the indoc form..... talked with him for a few min. He said I needed to comeback for some 5 hour long test. I asked him what the test was about....didn't really give an answer other than saying various things and memory regression. What the heck does that have anything to do with what I went there for??? (other than nothing)

Worst psychologist ever! He decides what's wrong with you as soon as you walk in the door, and there's nothing you can do about that. He is really full of himself; he is a doctor who cannot connect with you the patient because he is so busy seeing you through his (extremely unflattering to you) lens. "The Doctor" knows best, and you are going to be herded through his office, labeled, and branded by his uncaring, judgmental ego trip. If you go to him, be prepared to be very displeased at the results. Check his other reviews, here and on the web. Avoid!

There is something wrong here. He is judgmental, and does not listen to the patient nor answer questions. There is some sort of agenda, here; he is working for someone or something other than just the welfare of the patient. Avoid at all costs, especially if you are having problems and need real help.
