Mike is a straight up guy. If he thinks you’re also a straight shooter and honestly looking for help, you will benefit greatly from his expertise. I’ve seen mike for over 5 years and can tell you that Mike responds well to honesty, transparency, a full history, and a relaxed discussion. Pushing his buttons, telling him what he should, being aggressive or demanding will get you nowhere. So to those who post low ratings, complain, or think you know what you need, know that your attitude or hidden agenda got you what you deserved. Think about it. You’re dealing with a very smart and experienced guy who can read you and know what you’re after extremely fast. If you are trying to get over on someone you might want to move on. If you’re sincere and want to feel better Mike’s your man!

I've been a patient of Mike's for two-ish years. I have a basic understanding of psychopharmacology and have very productive conversations with him regarding treatment options. When starting out, it can be a labored process to find the best medication/dosage but Mike listened to any concerns and patiently found the best treatment plan for me. Mike thoroughly explains the medications, potential side effects, and how they work. He has a dry sense of humor and we get along very well.

Doesn’t listen to what you have to say. Has to be the smartest person in the room & gets upset/angry if you question him on medications. Came in only wanting one medication, left with 2 others and one medication that wasn’t even brought up during visit. He seems to make assumptions on your symptoms. For example, he insisted I was angry. So he prescribes me an antipsychotic and a mood stabilizer. I’m not angry, I’m depressed. Don’t you think I would know how I’m feeling?

Michal overmedicated me, resulting in severe illness. He refused to answer my questions & concerns, & told me what my symptoms were instead of listening. He got loud w/ me & I thought he was going to be violent. When I reported him, he lied & blamed it on me to his boss to cover up his actions. I now see a Dr. who immediately cut out an addictive drug I didn't need or want. Another that's caused physical complications to this day was cut out. 1 other has been cut in half. I've been great since.
