Telehealth
When I started seeing Michele Cash I told her that the most important things were to control my ADHD and keep me from having manic episodes. At the first appointment she said she was going to take me off of my ADHD medication and that I needed ween off of it in 3 days after years of use. I said I wasn't comfortable with that and she said 'You don't have a choice, I'm not going to fill it.' She tried to prescribe me a different medication and I'm so glad I looked it up because the website had a pop up warning not to give it to people who have manic episodes. I hope that she is being paid by the company who makes that medication, because the alternative is complete incompetence and disregard for her patients.

Cashed Out
Only two visits were necessary with Dr. Cash to realize that she was not the right fit for my mental health needs. Visit one included a face to face intake in her office where she was noticeably distracted during our session and couldn’t be bothered to introduce herself until 30 minutes in. Visit two was via Telehealth where I twice suggested Dr. Cash might consider turning off the radio she had blaring in the background after she asked me to speak up several times while stating she couldn’t hear me. During our sessions, Dr. Cash demonstrated she was both uninterested and unwilling to provide any effort or energy in attempting to help me which made my decision to immediately seek a different provider a simple one. Although there are a wealth of professional and positive providers available for anyone seeking support for mental health wellness, I can advise with confidence that Dr. Cash is not one of them.

Waste of precious time.
I saw this doctor for way too long. I was recently diagnosed, and we tried the typical meds. The problem was she wouldn’t listen; not to meds I had tried in those drug classes in the past without success, nor the negative side effects with lack of benefit that were happening with new ones she wanted to try. We went through so many meds (11) that I checked myself into inpatient program and that doctor found my med in less than 5 mins. She also wrote terrible and untrue things in my patient notes. So I switched to a new doctor in my network and it’s been the best decision I’ve ever made for my health. I hope you heed my words. TLDR: go elsewhere if you want beneficial treatment.
