Michele Menzie, LCSW

Michele is amazing. She is kind, compassionate and truly cares. I followed her from another local practice. I am paying out of pocket because she does accept my insurance, and it is worth every penny.

I have been seeing Michele for three years. Before deciding she was right for me, I saw other therapists. What I like about Michele is that she has never once made me feel anything but warmth, acceptance, and no judgement for the what I've been through, the poor decisions I've made in the past, my sexual orientation..etc. With providers before her, it always stressed me to share my story because of the look of pity on their face...not Michele. With Michele it's empathy, understanding, and real tools to help me cope and improve my circumstances. I used to consider myself a "pushover." Michele has not changed me, but she's helped bring out the strong woman that I am. When I say she has changed my life, she truly has. I am a new person now from when we began sessions. I feel happy again, but even when I don't, I know how to cope. My new mindset has helped me also live healthier, build a better career, and be the best mother I can. I highly recommend her to anyone. She is an angel.
