Michelle Barone, NP

I met Michelle to form a relationship with a provider in ABQ. I've been on BC pills for years & asked if she would continue my Rx. "No, only a Gynecologist can". (This is a lie & pure laziness. My sister is an NP and prescribes BC daily.). 2 months later, I met with her & requested TWO anti-anxiety pills (long-distance flights=agoraphobia). Guess what? She doesn't prescribe those either! So what does this woman ACTUALLY do? She didn't even bother with a referral or anything. Good riddance

Today I had an appointment with Michelle Barone, Nurse Practitioner. This visit was simply for the new patient establishment. Michelle walked into the room and did not introduce herself. I thought at first I was dealing with Medical Assistant. Then she proceeds to ask me which medications I am on. When I told her she scoffed at me! She asked who prescribed me my asthma inhaler. Very disappointed in her care. I was extremely ill and desperate to find out what was wrong with me and was so hopeful she would guide me in the right direction. I saw her four times. She never showed compassion and this was something I needed during this difficult time. She was on her laptop most of the time hardly looking up at me. She never gave suggestions and was in the room with me for 5-7 min each time. I'm so glad I decided to quit wasting my time and found myself a good doctor.
