Dr. Michelle Haddad, PHD

I was referred to Dr. Haddad by my pulmonologist for a psychological evaluation.However, the evaluation was done by an intern with limited experience. I provided the intern with a full history of medications I had tried and stopped, as well as those currently taken since my illness in order to share background.At the end of the evaluation, Dr. Haddad came into the office for 2-3min to meet with me.Subsequently, I received a report signed by Haddad (who saw me for 3min) stating that my symptoms were due to polypharmacy and listed ALL meds I’ve taken as if I was still taken them. My other Emory physicians were baffled that not only did Dr Haddad did not perform the evaluation , but didn’t care to review my medical files.I contacted Dr. Haddad indicating the error in the report, and instead of correcting it, she added a note that “patient alleged not taking XYZ”. Consequently, insurance denied my claim. Worse experience with Emory!
