Extraordinary Midwife
Michelle is unbelievable. It is so rare to find someone who is evidence-based and also supportive of trusting your body. I have gone through 3 deliveries with Michelle and she has had a positive impact on every one. I transferred care to her at 30 weeks with my first. I was so nervous to transfer care to late but I am SO glad I did. Michelle prevented me from getting a c-section, and prevented me from having a dangerous hemorrhage (I have low platelets). She also recommended I see a pelvic floor therapist due to positioning problems, this made my second labor significantly easier. With my 3rd labor, she noticed problems on an NST and was able to guide me to safely have my baby. You won't regret choosing Michelle, her passion for her work is evident in all that she does. She also brings a joy to birth that is calming and encouraging. The thing that most impresses me about her though, is that she has reason and evidence for everything she does. I cannot recommend her enough!

When I became pregnant I knew I wanted to use a midwife for my delivery because I wanted as holistic and natural a pregnancy and delivery that I could get. Michelle was so awesome! I had a precipitous labor and she rushed to the hospital to get there right before the baby came. She helped keep me calm and confident as things had happened so quickly. She was always so knowledgeable and as a teacher I loved watching her teach her students. We are moving out of state in the next year and I’m sad I won’t be able to use her for future babies!

Michelle is absolutely wonderful! I have now completed 3 pregnancies and deliveries with her, and I couldn’t have picked a more kind, thoughtful, compassionate, knowledgeable and caring person to bring my 3 children into the world! Highly recommend her for any women’s health care. My experience at The Christ Hospital on labor & delivery has always been good as well.

Michelle is both no-nonsense and compassionate. She made me feel safe and well cared for even through a long hard labor and delivery that didn’t quite go according to plan, but with her guidance my baby and I both emerged healthy and triumphant! I will be forever grateful to her.

Having Michelle as my midwife was an absolute blessing. She provided personalized and compassionate care. She kept my husband and I calm when we found out we were both carriers for the same genetic mutation. She knew the answer to every question I had and the patience to answer them all, and there were a lot every time. And through the pregnancy she brought comfort, peace, and confidence to my life. In delivery, Michelle made me feel like I could accomplish anything and that it would all be ok. I am thankful everyday for my little girl and the help I received through it all from Michelle. I’m so thankful to have had the opportunity to have a midwife care for me during my pregnancy and after.

Midwife Michelle Zamudio - Passionate, Gifted, Aware, Caring, Present, & Experienced. At 28 weeks, I transferred my care from my previous doctor to Michelle because I sought to have an unmedicated childbirth and she came highly recommended. After working with her, I wouldn’t do it any other way! The day of delivery was surprisingly quick, vastly intense, and crazy beautiful. We were at Christ for only an hour and a half before baby arrived. I labored primarily at home but remained in contact with Michelle. Once I got into the delivery room, contractions really kicked into high gear. My husband, Michelle, the on-call doctor and the nursing staff were all hands on deck. Michelle encouraged me through each contraction. She told me to say ‘yes’ when I felt doubt. At the end, what gave me the extra strength I needed was when she told me, ‘you can do this just 3 more minutes!’ And just like that I was holding my baby girl within 3 minutes. A surreal moment I will never forget.

Michelle Zamudio is in my opinion one of the best. She is calm/easy going, very knowledgeable, and also accommodating with your requests/needs. I will note that if you have not been to Christ Hospital in Cincinnati, it is a teaching facility, so it can feel like a different experience because you will get to see a rotation of new faces; however, these individuals are also very nice (which could partly be due to working with Michelle). Her availability is limited because of the days that she is in to see patients but she certainly worth the wait. I would HIGHLY recommend her to any expecting mother.

She is one of a kind! She delivered both of my girls one epidural and one natural due to swift delivery. I panicked and she kept me focused , grounded me and reassured me. She is relatable, personable and extremely medically sound. She keeps up with evidence based practice and advocates for her patients in many capacities. I wouldn't want anyone to know else

Michelle is one of a kind. I can not say enough in this review to let you know how wonderful she really is. I was seeing my obgyn and was not happy with the practice. I heard about Michelle from another mom in a birthing class I participated in. At 32 weeks pregnant I met with Michelle and immediately clicked with her. I have been seeing Michelle ever since. Michelle delivered my baby in January. It was so comforting to go into labor knowing Michelle will be there every step of the way. She was empowering and amazing to have by my side during the delivery! I trust Michelle 100%. She is thorough, takes time to answer your questions, and is an expert in her field. I will be moving out of state and wish I could take Michelle with me!

No one I would trust more with myself or my family! From the moment I met Michelle, she made me feel like I could trust her with anything. She has a multitude of natural pain relieving methods to comfort and empower women to reach their goals of delivering their babies drug free (which I wouldn't have without her). With my second baby, she revealed her extremely competent medical skills and saved my baby from having any brain damage due to lack of oxygen. Honest, understanding, and compassionate!

I found Michelle when I wanted to switch from a male gyno to female and needed someone with information about a specific form of birth control. Not only did Michelle make me feel comfortable from that very first instance, she remembers me as a patient every time I'm in! She's nonjudgmental and actively listens to my needs and offers her honest and knowledgeable opinion and advice. I'm getting married soon and know Michelle will be my OB when my future husband and I decide to start a family.

Michelle Zamudio is one of a Kind! I met her 9 years ago at an emergency visit to the hospital when she stopped my son from coming early at 6 months Prego! (regular OB doc was out of town) After my doc left town I opted for Zamudio to be my primary OB "doc"! I just love her. She is practical, down-to-Earth and listens to her patients.. She delivered my second child as well ! She is one of the reasons I am going back to school after 10 years of being a STNA to become a Certified Nurse Midwife!

Michelle was a great midwife! I had a very smooth pregnancy and delivery and I felt very comfortable under her care. She has a calm and relaxing style and I appreciated her positive attitude! Michelle had a lot of great insight into my questions and concerns and I felt she was very knowledgeable. I gave her all 5 stars and she is wonderful! Plan to see her for all my *hopefully* future pregnancies.

Amazing experience delivering my son at Christ Hospital. I came in terrified with a very very detailed birth plan, due to the fact I was treated so roughly at Good Sam with their Doctors and procedures from a previous delivery. Michelle Zamudio literally made my experience AMAZING. Not only was she knowledgeable but you could feel how much she was there emotionally for my husband and I. GREAT coaching as well. I left the hospital eager to expand my family more because of how wonderful she was.

Amazing, absolutely amazing! I looked forward every month to see her once I was pregnant. Every step along the way she was supportive and helpful in guiding me in the direct I felt would be best for our birth. My son was a 'known-breech' baby and even though she was unable to deliver by law in Ohio she was with me every step of the way. The natural breech birth I gave to my son at Christ Hospital would not have been the same without her. I would recommend her to everyone I know!

Michelle provided me with excellent prenatal care followed by the most beautiful delivery I could've hoped for this past July. She's an expert in prenatal care, and stays up to date on all the latest recommendations. Between her medical knowledge & years of experience, I felt completely at ease knowing that I was in capable, trustworthy hands. She was so patient and supportive, always took the time to listen, and truly cared for not just my medical needs but the emotional ones as well!

She is SO caring. One of the best Drs. I've encountered in a very very long time. She goes about and beyond to make you feel comfortable, and to allow you as much freedom in your birth plan as she is medically able to. She is up on research and well versed in other things that could happen while you are pregnant. I would recommend her to anyone!
