I waited almost ten months to finally get an appointment at their offices due to the shortage of Ear Nose Throat doctors on Hawaii island (only one). I was assigned to Ms. Fowler an APRN with this specialty. While suffering a very long time with intense symptoms I was hopeful to get care finally when the appointment day came up. I was very disappointed by the visit. I did not feel heard or listened too. I had an idea of what may be causing my symptoms due to a recent infection which she dismissed. She guessed one of my symptoms was from a B12 deficiency (which it was not). I explained I found it odd since I take a B12 supplement. She angrily said I did not write the supplements I take on the form as I did not see that requested on the form. I felt it was very rude and her treatment of me in general impatient and unkind. I left feeling very demoralized after waiting 10 months and driving two hours round trip to see her. She ordered some tests and had no follow up to assist me further.
