I started seeing Dr. Spett when "life" started beating me down. I was having trouble being productive at work, my personal relationships all started to deteriorate, and I just wasn't happy. Dr. Spett had a fairly straightforward approach with me that made me realize I was in control of everything in my life, no one else was. I was convinced prior to meeting Dr. Spett I may need medication to keep my moods balanced and my anger and frustration at bay, but I was proven wrong. Not knowing what Cognitive Behavioral Therapy was prior to our sessions, I had no idea you could re-train your mind. I haven't seen Dr. Spett in a few months now, but during the five months we met, I made profound changes to my mental health that have placed me in a much better place. If you're looking for someone to give you the shakeup needed to get yourself moving back in the right direction, Dr. Spett is the person for you. My wife can vouch for that!

I started seeing Dr. Spett for an anxiety disorder that was impacting all aspects of my life.  At times it was quite debilitating and I thought I'd never get better.  Dr. Spett's approach to CBT made me challenge my intrusive thoughts and subsequent OCD behavior. He was honest and forthright with what was needed to be successful. I knew it was going to require hard work and would take time.  At first we met weekly, then twice per month, and eventually monthly. After 3 years of treatment I am on a much healthier path and can envision an anxiety free life and I have stopped seeing Dr. Spett. Dr. Spett is kind, compassionate, and funny. He is always willing to talk outside of therapy hours and has a genuine care for his patients. I've recommended Dr. Spett to numerous friends, family members, and colleagues.

A highly effective, intelligent, empathetic, and compassionate therapist. It took me years and multiple therapists to finally find Dr. Spett. I have been seeing him regularly for a few years now. The amount of progress and growth he has pushed me towards is phenomenal. His level of knowledge is incredible, and his advice and strategies have been beyond helpful. I highly recommend him as a therapist.
