I went to the ER in extreme pain, due to a kidney stone. My blood pressure was elevated, I was pasty white, profusely sweating from head to toe & shaking from the pain. Literally the worst pain I have ever experienced. Mindy Hymel was the PA who saw me. She was rude, totally blew me off & told me I had a UTI. We already knew I had a kidney stone from a CT Scan done during my previous visit. She told me my urine was clear (it later came back showing blood in my urine). Thankfully, I had the kindest nurse who told me she was so sorry I was going through this & that she knows what it’s like to have a kidney stone. She was so sympathetic & believed I wasn’t being over dramatic. (which was the impression I received from Mindy Hymel). I was so relieved when I finally passed the stone!! I will NEVER go back to the ER in SCP if Ms Hymel is working!!!
