I had an impingement in the muscles of my hip. It caused me a lot of pain after most kinds of activity--especially biking, climbing stairs, and hiking. I had a cycling cruise coming up to Japan. I was doing several different types of therapies to try to heal enough to ride my bike again, without a lot of progress. Ten days before my cruise I started going to Misti. She taught me a lot about what was going on in my hip and taught me to use PNF which works with the pain to heal the problem. Three days before my cruise I told her about my stair/hiking problem. She took me to her stairs and showed me a simple 2-minute therapy. After I did it, I walked up the stairs pain-free! She gave me tools to use to calm the painful muscles. It was like a miracle! I rode my bike 310 pain-free miles in Japan! Misti is very knowledgeable about the muscular system and how to work with it to promote healing. I highly recommend her.
