Dr. Danitz - Highly Recommended
Highly recommend Dr. Danitz. I have seen him for nearly 5 years and intend to see him for as long as I continue to need therapy or until he retires, whichever is sooner! Don’t retire Dr. Danitz! He is a kind, open-minded therapist. He doesn’t lead you to a conclusion but allows you to gain the necessary tools to be able to see, feel, and wholeheartedly understand certain experiences, feelings, etc. This has allowed me to more deeply connect with understanding my emotions and how past events have impacted me. we also see him for couples counseling and he’s been tremendous for us. I legitimately do not have a single thing I can harp on him. It’s unfortunate to see other reviews that express a very different view. But that has not been my experience and i have a hard time fathoming anything otherwise. Thank you, Dr. Danitz!

Most helpful therapist.
Mitchel Danitz saved my life and my sanity. He helped me extricate myself from a horrible situation with my family, taught me how to be a good parent. He gave my faith that abusive past did not dictate my futures.. He taught me how to set boundaries without being cruel or dismissive. He taught me how to have faith in my decisions..He taught me and my husband how to parent our children with respect and love and let go of our family or origin's methods of parenting; humiliation, fear, violence, chaos, harsh criticism, etc. He guided me out of a horrible depression. As for the & time, is is a disingenuous criticism. Every mental health provider has a time limit 50 or 55 minutes. They need to establish payment otherwise they get stiffed. They have to because people don't like to pay. If you are annoyed about him giving you answers sometimes it takes a few sessions and sometimes there are no easy answers or clients don't like the answer, like stop drinking, using children as a wedge, etc.

Exceptional
I'm grateful for the six years we've had with Dr. Danitz. Despite the negative reviews posted here, our experience has been consistently positive. Dr. Danitz, in his engaged, supportive, and intuitive approach, has developed a deep connection with my child. His overall support and spot-on answers to my questions have been invaluable. Highly recommend his expertise and dedication to his patients.

Simply the Worst! Don’t waste your time!
Do not waste your time, energy and money with this man. He calls himself a clinical psychologist? He is far from it! He lacks guidance, RESPECT, integrity, and is incompetent in providing family services. He is honestly all about the money. He spends more time focusing on the clock then his interest in your family. He does not look out for the best interest in the child. A child can always tell “good character” Trust your instincts and do not give him a chance. He will try to ruin your famiy and continue to try to make more appointments as he’s looking out for the dollar. Absolutely disgusted by the lack of support.

After having several family clinical counseling services with Dr.Danitz it became readily apparent his ineptitude and incompetence in providing family services in clinical psychology. Dr.Danitz was more interested in watching the clock and scheduling the next appointment for his own benefit rather than listening to your family concerns and offering helpful suggestions. Would not recommend this provider

Really bad experience with Dr. Danittz. Less than truthful. Seeks for his own convenience. Not a good choice as a therapist.
