Couples therapy sessions
She is just like a session leader who only listens and takes notes without offering any solutions. We did not accomplish anything in the past 4-5 sessions with her. All she does is asking each of the couples to say her/his frustration loud, and then the other one saying "I understand your frustration!" loud. That's it! She is pretty unfair about giving equal time to the couples to talk during a short 1 hour session, and usually keeps the authority to unfairly shut up one person and let the other one lie for the entire session. She easily allows herself to attack and insult the patient during the sessions, and is not skilled enough for a couples therapy. I wish "she understand the patients frustration too".
