Monica Essak listened attentively to my concerns, did a very thorough review of my history and current health/life status, and asked many appropriate questions. As a result, we have formulated an initial treatment plan to address multiple issues that I have been trying to get other providers to take seriously for over 30 years. Monica was very nice, but she is a nurse practitioner, and my intent was to see a physician. And she wanted me to come back a second time so we could talk some more, which I think is absolutely ridiculous. And I can't get in to see the physician, Dr. Heck, for six months. And {staff name removed} on the phone, who did scheduling, was just downright rude. They don't do it like that at Cedars-Sinai. They know how to do it right.

Monica is well versed in her nurse practitioner role. {staff name removed} took time to schedule my many appointments.

Will miss the regular weekly group visits

Monica is an excellent listener with broad technical knowledge in her field and beyond.

Both receptionist were young but acted almost snooty! Maybe It was the really big areas where they worked. That big new building was so big it was "cold" and not welcoming.

I was seen by this provider as part of the referral process for upcoming modules of the cardiac preventive program. I do not expect to see her on a regular basis. Hence, I would not likely be recommending her to others.

My blood pressure measurement experience when leaving as requested by Monica was less that professional and not worth the effort. The staff member was clearly in a hurry.

Monica was very, very thorough. She went over everything very, very well and explained everything. Explain the program and she welcome me into the group, and it was just a pleasure sitting down, and having met for the first time Monica.
