Extremely Rude
Treated my absolutely horrible at the walk in clinic. She said I didn’t have a reason to be there when I was in legitimate pain. I was referred to QCare by my family doctor (because my family doctor couldn’t fit me in for weeks), and Morgan told me she couldn’t treat me and wouldn’t run tests for infection. Her specific words were, “we are here for QUICK, in and out care. We aren’t here to just solve all your problems. You should be at your family doctor, not a walk-in clinic.” I had to beg her to even give me the antibiotic I needed! And when I questioned the medicine prescribed to me (making sure it was ok to take with underlying heart problem) she accused me of being the “type of person who doesn’t want to take any medicine”. What?? Absolutely no bedside manner, I was almost in tears. I sure hope Penn Highlands wises up and removes her from the walk-in clinic, as she kicks people when they are already down.

She was so rude to me. Dismissed all my concerns and had no bedside manner. If she is your doctor at the hospital, please do yourself a favor and ask to see another doctor. Anyone but her. She will make you feel worse than when you walked in.

On 9/26/20 (Saturday) I experienced abrupt onset loss of hearing L ear. PCP advised QCare. Seen by this PA: Due to unsuccessful ear irrigation resulting in bleeding, pain, PERFORATED eardrum, I needed urgent ear surgery 2days later- blood clot debrieded, tube inserted. 13 months later continue with chronic ear issues, tube remains, f/u with ENT still necessary, and changes in my daily activities of living. This PA refused to consult my Dr. nor her supervising Dr. which she is required to do per the AMA regulations. And my visit was identified as URGENT on the QCARE admission note prepared by M.Micksich PA. ALERT: seek improved evaluation and treatment from a licensed ENT physician and NOT a PA for any ear issues. This PA prescribed ear drops and told me to see ENT. Contacted same PA next day (Sunday) imploring for help due to increased ear bleeding and pain which I didn’t have prior to her unsuccessful irrigation. She said my eardrum is probably perforated-Don’t go to her.
