Immediately pushed antidepressants on the first session and refused to listen to and consider my history on them. Seemed irritated that I refused. Spent the second session arguing with me about reconnecting with an estranged parent and felt like she was blaming me for the failure. I canceled my third appointment.

My fiancé and I were hoping to gain some tools and a different perspective to help us navigate a challenge in our relationship. We attended 2 sessions with Nancy and at the beginning of the second session, she told us there was nothing she could do for us. We were told there was no resolution and basically no way to work through the challenge. She also told me I was controlling because I wasn't willing to compromise my beliefs. Her 'best' advice was for us to admit that it wasn't going to work. I recommend not wasting your time with this counselor.

My husband and I went to her cuz we were about to enter a difficult season, and figured it would be smart to have a neutral third party there in case things got rough. This lady was convinced that I cayfished my husband, because I'm an immigrant. She even asked him directly. We went to 3 sessions and stopped when she asked us if we thought the marriage was worth salvaging. It wasn't broken to begin with. It sounded like she was suggesting divorce! I'm scared to think what she would tell people who were actually in difficulty.

So glad my wife convinced me to go. Our relationship has really improved since we've started going.

Nancy is great! She's wise and patient.
