Nancy Leff, LCSW

Ms. Leff started appointments 15 minutes late and only mentioned it when she was over 20 minutes late. She kept her phone on vibrate during the session and would occasionally check it (once out of the many sessions was during a family crisis which I understand, but just reschedule with me right?). During our last session she ate her lunch and frequently was unable to respond because her mouth was full. I feel like a jerk because I know we all get hungry but really? It's only a 30 minute session after the 15 minute late start anyway, can't lunch wait until after the client? All and all not worth $140 a session in anyway whatsoever.

This woman was told that the child patient had high anxiety. She was chosen to deal with a very high conflict abuse situation to help deal with after effects of alcohol and abuse within a parental/child relationship. She started the appt in a rude tone, was late, called the child a liar repeatedly when he was stating validated facts, And when Asked what next steps were , she just walked away without a word. This is no joke - she is the worst therapist. Try another.

My husband and I had such a poor experience with Nancy. She didn't start appointments on time, didn't have much to say, and would ask questions that didn't help anything. My husband and I luckily had some good content to discuss with each other, but she mostly just observed the conversation.

Does a very good job of picking up on what the problems need to be worked on and by whom.
