Nancy Macy

Nancy was my NP throughout my pregnancy in 2022. She in all honestly was decent throughout my pregnancy and she was great during my delivery. However her medical assistant Jamie made me feel like an inconvenience and a burden every time I went in. She gave me such bad anxiety because I felt so unwanted and like I was such a bother to her, that literally every appointment my blood pressure was high. I had to do so many unnecessary tests because of it and it was simply just because I had anxiety every time I saw her. She is not friendly, doesn’t greet you when you come in… she asked me personal questions in front of other patients in the waiting area instead of taking me into a private room. Overall I dreaded all my appointments because of her. If Nancy had another assistant I would go back for my next pregnancy, but I don’t want to feel like a burden because someone has to do their job next time. It truly took away from my pregnancy experience.

I saw Nan for the first time prior to my first midwife visit with her to make sure it was a good match. I initially thought it was but once we started my prenatal care I realized it was not. Her nurse Jamie is somewhat fidgety and jumpy. I have fairly strong nerves and she made me so tense when she took my blood that it hurt. There were also several times that I walked in to the clinic where Jamie didn't greet me or say "We'll be right with you". A few weeks in Nan made a horrible situation even worse. There was an issue with the pregnancy and as opposed to helping me get the medical attention I needed quickly I felt that she left me floundering in the wind. I had to call the hospital to see if I could get in sooner and eventually I ended up leaving the practice to go back to my old OB so she could help. It was a horrible situation that was made worse by not having a nurse or midwife who truly cared.

I just love Nan.she was like a mother for me as I was away from.very caring and any time responded very well whenever I needed her

Excellent, Nan is one of the best medical provider I have ever been to. I have been going to her for at least 10 years. Great listener and very knowledgeable. Very caring. I would recommend her to anyone looking for Gyn/OB. Rragsdale

I have been seeing Nan since 1999, she has been there for 3 deliveries and she is awesome! Spends the time listening, and explaining things are very clearly. Highly recommend!

Best provider and friend you could ask for. Love her and all the people in her office.
