Enabler. Terrible therapist
A bad therapist is the worst thing in the world bc they will only enable the individual and will not help them. Since my mother began seeing Nancy her narcissistic tendencies have gotten out of control. I would stay as far away from this woman as possible. Speak with literally any other therapist.

It wouldn’t be worth any of our whiles for me to go into depth regarding what a garbage therapist this woman seems to be.

I love Nancy as a person, but as a therapist, she ends up talking about herself during appointments. I agree that she "spaces out". Some days I was at a really low point and needed someone to listen and take me seriously, and she would joke about everything. There are times to joke and times to be serious, and it was just inappropriate and very unhelpful.

I started seeing Nancy back in early 2015, she was very helpful in providing coping skills for what I was going through at the time but tends to space out in sessions. At the end of 2015, she advised she will no longer be doing night counseling and stated she would call me to about appointment availability. She never called when she said she would so I left several messages for call backs and never called. So I complained about level of service received and got new therapist.
